Someone is gonna get hurt!

Well I love my birds. And apparently they love me. Every time I go to the coops I get mobbed!  So far only the goslings are not underfoot! The chickens swarm, as do the turkeys. There is usually a duck attached to my leg. (Haven't quite figured out if they love me or are being aggressive, but they do expect pats). This would normally be flattering, but I'm either going to step on someone or trip and fall. I can see it now...."Woman eaten by chickens..."

:jumping:  I can picture the scene.  That's what I like about ours too!  I always have to watch who I might be stepping on, they never mob hubby though   I am glad we have deep shavings in their coop.  As careful as I am, I often feel a little tug under my foot and will have someones toe under my foot!

Re: Someone is gonna get hurt!

That's too funny, I call mine chicken assassins as I swear they are out to trip me as well.  I figure they just see me as the lady with the food or maybe they really do  me.  the EO's do this but so do my Standard BLRW and they are worse because they are bigger the one roo especially is always close to me.
