Unique way to show off our flock!

Well, its been busy around here as usual, but I thought I'd share my daughter's (and my, lol) new hobby.... She's been collecting feathers for awhile now, and has learned how to make jewelry! Some of it is quite nice, and two boutiques in town will be starting to sell it starting tomorrow. I'm rather proud of her (did I mention, she's 8??)
Please ignore the poor pics, I'm not a very good photographer:

Those are great.  What a clever girl! They are beautifully matched too.  I hope they sell quickly, that will really make her the proudest little girl!

Re: Unique way to show off our flock!

Thanks everyone. I haven't been posting too much lately because someone has me busy! I have to admit, I'm having fun with it too!  We went to this nifty bead store and picked out some gorgeous beads to accompany her designs. We got some swarovski crystal (which I love). We decided to get a bunch of natural beads to go with the heritage bird feathers (antique bone, wood, metals stone). Then we got some bling beads for the colourful feathers. Today, I took 8 of her designs to the shop to sell.  Look at my baby go!!
