New Spanish have arrived .

Very early this year(and last ) I contacted a few breeders of Euskal Oiloa  Marraduna Basque from USA & Spain  , FL,NH, & SC states that wanted to bring in a fresh blood line. With all the shut / lock downs , time was running low & the collectors in spain were not selling anything .
Releases were granted and then a few hundred were sent , I got two dozen , I broke 2 on unpacking , in all 8 made it to fuzzy butts & eating up well .  Time will tell on the new chicks , but their accent is 100% ..

This is what happened at our farm this year for chicks , Ducks are next , then back to weeding.

My Wife is right on it !!

Im smart in my trade plus.
This knowing the breed line of who is from where etc is all marking of numbers plus&  my wife went away for 2 months as her Fam needed her , so I was left to collect & number PLUS !!!

I took the camera out for a few shots 2day , forgot the mem card to load .

Re: New Spanish have arrived .

LNSS although the forum is still here it has started to get so few new posts it is hard to get people to stop in. You should be able to post pictures still but it is difficult and needs to be through another program such as Photobucket or Facebook.

We have an alternate forum: http://nabha.weebly.com/nabha-forum.html

Way easier to post pictures and more integrated with the North American Basque Hen Association (NABHA) which is where many members of this forum have come together. The new forum still has an area open to folks not members of NABHA.
