Sexing my Chickens

Im pretty new to the EO breed and i just wanted some help with sexing my EO Maraduna Type chickens, am i right in saying that the first picture the brownish red chicken is a hen and the two others around her are roosters? In the second picture would this be a white hen or a rooster? Thank you so much! :) PS not sure if the pictures were loaded correctly....

Hi YewTreeFarm!
Unfortunately you need to put the pictures somewhere like photobucket first before they will work on the forum.  It can't very frustrating at times :banginghead:

Here is a link to some instructions:

Or, if you just have a few pictures you could email them to me and I can post them for you.

Re: Sexing my Chickens

Hi Yew Tree Farm,
I am from Nova Scotia as well.  We have had E.O.'s for the last 3 years and have been making some progress towards the standard.  Have a long way to go but we are starting to show some promise.  We are just outside of Mahone Bay.

Where did your birds come from?  Good to have close E.O. lovers close by.
