Pics of 5-7 week old Red Cuckoo Basques

Again, now that photbbucket and I have come to a new understanding, I am able to share some pictures of this year's oldest red cuckoo basques. There are 3 hatches combined and the pictures were taken over the past week so the birds range in age from 4 to 7 weeks.

All have Foxy as their daddy and either my 4 year old Black Horse Ranch hen (brown band) who iwas still laying up a storm this winter or a 1 year old Amblecroft PQx pullet (blue band) with a beautiful red gold color as their mom. I have to say I am impressed so far with how they are turning out!

PQ's (Amber) son. The only cockerel from that pair, the rest are (very nice looking) pullets and I really like how he looks so far!

Pullets, it's hard to tell blue bands from brown.

One of Brown's sons. Not quite as golden and a bit more grey but still a nice looking boy. His mama is a big wide hen so he has some nice size potential!

And another pic of Amber's son. If anyone is noting the background, no one was injured in the taking of these photos....

Amber's Son as he continues to grow up. He is still larger than his hatch mates.
