Re: 16 Days Old

Oops last post went before I could finish writing.:duh:
The youtube video is attached to the last picture.
If anyone has opinions on the sexes of the birds would love to hear.  The brooder is this years new and improved version.  Newer one is 50% larger and we added viewing windows for us, the chicks and the wee ones, just love it.  And of course the same as last one it folds all up for easy storage.
The chicks this year have a very different personality then last years ones.  They are much more quiet, but they are beast when anything new comes across their path.

Re: 16 Days Old

:thanks: FRF,
I have to ask so I can understand better, how did you come buy the sexing of the chicks, feather color and where it is or ? I was really going for # 3 pullet and would have said the same for #4 except the cone is coming in brighter?
:duh: This is hard.  truly it doesn't matter as we are not getting rid of any but really want to learn.

:jumping: Past two days here have been awesome!!  We were up to 13.5 c yesterday and sunshine, today was mainly sunny and today so far 13.7 c.  :applause:  Snow melting everywhere.  But we will pay for it.  Calling for a nasty dumping over the weekend again :cozy:, please, spring come and stay!

Re: 16 Days Old

I go by feather colour, 3 & 4 have the rooster barring already starting to show pretty clearly.  #4 also has a larger comb starting.  But hey I have been know to be wrong :chairhide: LOL

Nice here too, it was +11C and the snow is really melting and can see some grass already as well as the dog dirt!!!   I hope you don't get hit too hard with snow over the weekend!!!
