Really slow?

Is anyone else finding that the forum is running really, really slowly? Or is it just my computer?

When all else fails, go spend time with your chickens. :)

Pens are currently filled with Red Cuckoo (Marraduna) and Red Basque (Gorria) breeders, Spitz, and Seramas.

Re: Really slow?

It's horribly slow. So slow I can't delete all the spammers each day as it takes close to 5 minutes for each one! The appropriate people have been notified but haven't been able to speed things up yet.

Re: Really slow?

I know Bessie sent "Smarty" a message to see what the problem is and if they could speed things up.  It's almost been a week!!

Hopefully it won't be long!!  :hi:

Re: Really slow?

I hit a 15 minute window this morning at 5:30am where the forum was a fast as it used to be. Got about 40 spammers deleted before it got slow again :gunslinger:

Wish things were back to normal!

Re: Really slow?

I really want to post some pictures for critiquing and I am holding off until the forum speeds up a bit.  Dealing with photobucket is painful enough on it's own, LOL

Re: Really slow?

I have emailed the host site owner twice, and posted on his help form.  He has not responded as yet.

Re: Really slow?

I have heard back from the host site owner

Sorry for the delay, I was away on vacation with limited internet/email access. Everything should be performing OK now.

Re: Really slow?

:thanks: MGF. Yet it still seems very slow?

I have not been able to keep up with spam registrations during this time unfortunately so if/when the site does speed up there may be a lot of cleanup to do. I used to be able to delete 40 in 15 minutes, not it's more like 4 in 15 minutes
