Re: Post your Basque Pictures

Nice pictures Paula.  Is there a certain type of picture we should post?  Funny ones, chick pics, different colors, different ages?  Will the pictures be used for a specific topic?

Starting with Red Cuckoo (Marraduna) Basque, Speckled Basque, and Blue, Black and Splash Ameraucanas.

Re: Post your Basque Pictures

Any picture that is a good representation of the breed, so as close to the SOP as possible.   Funny pictures, chick and adolescent pictures would be great too

The pictures will be used for the photo gallery section of the website.

Re: Post your Basque Pictures

Could there also be a section in the Gallery for non-standard colors? That way people could see the white, gray and speckled ones also.

I don't see why not, especially the white ones like you have as they are so close to the Zillaria and the Speckled.  Maybe a question for poplar girl???

We can pass your idea through the group but I think as long as we clearly stated that the EO pictured in that section were "non standard" for color or type and represent examples of people's pet basques there is no harm. I have a few myself and what they lack in fit to the SOP they make up for in personality and unique beauty. The trick is to ensure we don't confuse anyone!

For now I'd say post the pics and well see how we might fit them in!
