hello from vancouver island!

Hi everyone!
We're in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island and we're just starting out with EOs! We got 7 chicks from Briarwood last month. I came to take a look at all of your pictures in hopes of figuring out whether I've got ladies or roos but we'll see in a few weeks one way or another :D

We also got 6 silver sussex and I'm raising Mistral Gris for the first time so it's an exciting time of year for us!  We had a small mixed flock of chickens a few years ago on the mainland but we are starting from scratch now.  I had never heard of EOs but when I went looking for heritage chicks I saw them on the briarwood site and thought they'd be a nice addition to the family!
