Yes I had three broody silkies to start with and then one got very uninterested so she rejoined the Bantam flock. The other two  hens hatched out the 6 chicks and then were joined by some other chicks hatched out by someone else and needing a warm mama or two :)  The little black chicks are of the Banatam variety so it did not take long for the EOs to outgrow them. At this time the white Silkie is mom to the EOs here and the black Silkie is mom to the Bantams at Debbie's acerage.
