Once again trying to attach photos of a few of our flock, lets see if this works - still not very technical! LOL

Re: Just a few of our flock to share

That beautiful hen reminds me of my Kaleidoscope. She jumps up on the window ledge now for hugs and treats whenever I open the hatch to collect eggs =). You girl is nice and round like mine. I love when the hens get all dumpy and fat! Is that an EO roo with her? He looks a lot like a cockerel I bought this winter. Has black ticking but no honey color at all, just the black and white. I was considering putting him with my very lightest deer chicks to see what comes out of that...

Re: Just a few of our flock to share

Of course the chick is watching the EO forum, that is where we spend most of our time!   The EO roo is Seven Up who we got from Pops Coops last year but I believe he was originally from Susans flock.  He is a darling and my 12 year old sons favourite.  In the summer he sat on my lap to eat his treats out of my dish and let the ladies cluster around my feet pecking theirs from the floor.  We have some of his ladies eggs in our incubator and are excited to see what we get on Easter Sunday when they hatch.  Wookie, the black cochin, loves mingling with the EOs and is always the last to return to the coop.  She has been known to chase cats away.

Beautiful! I want a Wookie...I love Cochins, they are so squeezable :happycrowd"

Your new EO is adorable and 7-up and his lady look very happy. I love to see happy chickens just being chickens...and for an EO that includes watching the forum on the computer ;)
