Hello from Brandon Manitoba

:Canada: I had gone to purchase some Ridley bronze turkies from a lady last year and saw these amazing looking chickens.  Thankfully they were for sale and I came home with a pair of basque (plus the turkies).  I just brought home 33 chicks on Sunday and they are doing amazing.  The breeder I got them from had a beautiful set up and even more amazing birds, I guess the cuckoo marans I brought home to we're a bonus as well.  I love the auto sexing breed, their size, color, personality and rareness. What can I say I'm hooked.  Hoping to find lots of useful info on this site.

Raising mereduna, cuckoo marans, pilgrim geese, Muscovies and 2 suffield mustangs, plus garden a holic full time

Some of us are driven by the need to make animals a part of our lives. We are soothed by their presence, fascinated by their behavior, and amused by their antics.
