Set another Hatch today

:jumping:

Set another hatch today.  Unfortunately because of the prairie storms and icy roads there are no EO eggs in this batch....

6 barnevelders, 14 welsummers and 16 true ameraucanas (black/blue/splash)

Hopefully this hatch goes better than the last ( 1 maybe 2 pullets and 8 maybe 7 cockerels ) last hatch.  :stomp:

Wish me luck.... the 9 previous hatchees will be moved from the cage brooder upstairs to my just built grow out brooder in the basement.  Still too early for outside...can't build a tractor in 4ft of backyard snow. Just have the slideout board to install under the hardware cloth floor and they can be moved and I can ready the upstairs brooder for this new batch.  Will post pics of their new home in a separate post.

urban flock consisting two EOs thx Prairie Chick, one True Blue Ameraucana, and two Welsummers, thx Dan Smith and a gorgeous Easter Egger Hen, thx Flicker Chick. and 2 GLW pullets, 1 GLW cockerel, 1 SLW cockerel, 1 true blue Ameraucana pullet, and 4 EE pullets and 1 Cream Brabanter pullet, Thx to FRF, Anneke, and Fallyn.

Re: Set another Hatch today

Best wishes for a big healthy batch of almost all pullets.  I really like Welsummers and Barnevelders.  It is hard to find correctly laced Barnies here with nice dark eggs. Maybe we could do an egg-change someday?  :please:
Go chickies go!  :hatch:

All the best,

Kiah and Micah

Never had any Barnevelders but we really like our Welsummer and Ameraucana. Hope you hatch lots of pullets this time! :cheer:
