Those are zilarra, my favorites are the Marraduna, they are like no other breed.

Yes, the translation for Zilarra was silver when I did my article, but I think Ermine many be closer, I guess it's like columbian.  I like the Belza....love black chickens!  :EO:  That is such a great video! :jumping:

Beautiful video! I know Carlos and he is also member of the clubEoalak.
Some of my EO are from his bloodlines. His Lepasoilak are topshow and Gorriak are in my opinion excellent, too.

I have the beginnings of Zillara, monika. A few popped out of the group mating. Not sure if I will persue them though. 3 colours may be a bit too much for me.

Re: video of the diffrent Euskal Oiloas

Do you have any pictures Susan? I have this feeling in my tummy ...... When I was trying to figure out how old my grey broody Araucana was the other day, Gary said to me "Hmm lets see now, that was 3 or 4 ... this is the one, the perfect breed for me ... ago" Which by the way meant she is 4+ yrs old. What a smart a**!! Although he is right, 1st it was the Araucana, then the BLRW and now the EOs.

This is Fruitloops she is my bantie mutt of unknown origin who I absolutely love. She lays little blue/green eggs and is one of the two broody mamas taking care of your chicks right now. The Zillara remind me of her. Oh dear maybe a project I should go for. Wanna sell your little roo?

Love the name!! I'm wanting to watch him grow up a bit before I make any decisions Monika. If I decide not to attempt the Zillara I will let you know for sure. I won't let his genes go to waste.
