Where did the grass go?

I was having fun this morning taking a couple of pictures of our chickens.  They are right put off that this snow spoiled all their ranging around.

Susan,

These are great pics! "Now who put THIS here???".

When all else fails, go spend time with your chickens. :)

Pens are currently filled with Red Cuckoo (Marraduna) and Red Basque (Gorria) breeders, Spitz, and Seramas.

I know they are funny, they love to eat the snow off your boots but sure the heck don't like to get their feet in it. :funny:

Re: Where did the grass go?

That's funny and lovely  :pics: They have been eating the snow off my boots here but are in breeding pens except Driveby so haven't had a chance to turn their noses up at snow!

The Ameraucanas up in the layer coop have been sunning themselves in the greenhouse type extension though (and eating snow off my boots)  We must have had  9 inches since Friday.  I LOVE IT! :snowman: :cozy:
