Has anyone made their own pasta?

I tried it for the first time ever today and it's neat.  I had a mission abort on the ravioli when I thought I'd add some fresh garlic to it for some extra flavour (and our own dried oregano) and it put holes in it so stuffing was out of the question :chairhide:

So I made wonky bows and linguine (I don't usually eat long thin pasta).  Nathan is making the alfredo sauce with garlic, cream and white wine :eat:   We are having proscuitto with it.  I'll post the recipe if its any good!   The pasta is bright yellow, I used up 4 pullet eggs! :snowman:

So does anyone have tips, recipes or anything?  I got a roller thing for Christmas and it would have been impossible without it!

I have, but its been awhile. It was very good though. Basically I found sending it thru the roller one more time than you thought would be necessary makes the nest pasta. Enjoy!

I did each strip 2x from 7 down to 2.  It said to got to "one"-the thinnest on the raviolis but it seemed too thin for general purpose so I stopped at 2.  It was awesome, off to the barn now!  :pics:

Sounds awesome and what a great way to use up :layer:!  Our girls are starting to get going on the eggs now.  I am amazed how elastic it was!
