Re: Thanks Susan more postcards and more vintage chick postcards

OMG I absolutely love these pops. Just looking at them took me right back to Uncle Bill's farm near Rushlake, Sask. where I now realize my love of chickens began. There is something so warm and nostalgic about those cards. Uncle Bill (we called him) sponsored my parents and oldest siblings from Germany. I was born in Canada and my earliest memories are from the farm, happy times! If I close my eyes I can still picture the walls always having calenders with little little cardboard attached thingys on them, you know a place to put snipits of paper or such. Have you ever seen those pops? I would give my first born for one of those, (btw, I can offer her because I know you would send her back in a hurry ) Oh my, I think if I could get one of those that would be the only thing on my Christmas list. What an awesome memory, thanks for that pops!

That is so cool, I feel a glow from you Monika!!  I just think they are beautiful in their own right!  I have some lovely images of old French soaps that have that same soft pastel background and lightly gilded spring flowers.

Oh yes please do pops, that would be so cool. I would love to see if the calenders in my mind are same as what you have. Btw my first born will be 28 in a week and boy would she be unimpressed if she knew I was still trying to give her away ;)
