Re: Euskal Oiloa and Mitsy and Munchkin chicks

Oh my Goodness. Aren't they just the loviest little things. I think baby chicks, all fluffy and fuzzy are the cutest things in the world. Gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling just looking at them.

Some of us are driven by the need to make animals a part of our lives. We are soothed by their presence, fascinated by their behavior, and amused by their antics.

Re: Euskal Oiloa and Mitsy and Munchkin chicks

You know Pops, I'm really not surprised. Those were the first batch of eggs I saved after sending to Monika- some I even had switched out of her shipment as I just wasn't sure. I'm glad we are in this together, or I would have felt horrible! Guess I'll be having lots of broody Mommas....on the bright side, its much easier to tell now and I almost have that coop with just EOs :)

Great pictures,  I can't wait for spring as it is and seeing all these fuzzy butts just makes me want some too.

Re: Euskal Oiloa and Mitsy and Munchkin chicks

UPDATE  :jumping:  this is what has hatched 15 EOs,  7 MF,  The silkies show girls and normal, 2 EO silkie crosses and 1 EO pipping, so all eggs were good or hatched exept 1 that was not fertile.

I'm seeing a few with the dark grey, both in your pics and some of the ones Fiona hatched here- wondering what the will turn out like!
