Looks like you have a couple of happy kids there...and at least one proud adult behind the camera! Makes me long for spring!

Get used to it,  it gets no better as they get older!!  That's why we love em!  I took a ton of pics the other day and half were blurry faces peering in/at the camera!  They like toes too!

Lovely pics, and chicks.  Great setup you have there,  it is so great to see the kids enjoying them, that pic says 1000 words! :applause:  How excitng you finally have these chicks hatching.  I hope you get many more!

 :EO: thanks for the pictures,  I bet you are already finding out what the fuss is all about with these chicks.
Interesting to see that you had 3 hatch with some black on their head I don't remember hatching any like that .  I wonder if the black dot tells something as to sex or colour?

Re: <<< NEWS FLASH!!! >>>

I have seen the odd ones with the head markings other than the white dot and it is more of a dark brown line than the black, not as bold.  Well spotted though Stefan.  For latecomers MD, they look perfectly fine! :chook:

Did you get the notification on your eggs Glen. I shipped out Monday and they should be there Wednesday or Thursday. I'm gonna say Thursday.
I love seeing the kids all into them. Makes it all worth it.
Did you say seed catalogs? I want to grow some of them watermelon radishes u had posted. What's the best time to plant them?

Re: <<< NEWS FLASH!!! >>>

Glen what typical beautiful EO babies, love the pictures....keep them coming.  Hatching is stressful but also the best, I love it.  The kids will love them, they only get friendlier as they grow and as Claire said they love toes and shoes and shoe laces....... and well just about anything to peck at they are too curious.  ENJOY!!!!

:congrats:
