Shipping out my second batch Tomorrow! The gurlz are starrting to rock-n-roll. The eggs are starting to get good size too. I can't wait to hatch off some more girls to have some table eggs from them.

Re: The First Euskal Oiloa Shipment In The States

:jumping: great!  Steve said he got his eggs down in Sunny California!  Where are these ones going?

My naughty Euskal oiloa girl (s) secretly laid a dozen eggs in my garlic bed, I gotta take a pic!  They are laying still while everyone else is molting or given up 'cos of day length and no extra light!  The eggs are a good size, and the chicks usually enormous!

I will receive mine as soon as Mr. Skyline has mine ready.  I am definitely going to need a lot of helping hands in this endeavor....but I am so proud that I will be the first in the state of Kentucky to have them!!!!

Re: The First Euskal Oiloa Shipment In The States

No. I know it's relative.  When I go back to England (I grew up there), they remark when it is 4 degrees cooler than the day before, it varies so little.  Up here our temperature can vary 10 times that in a day, so it wired when sucha  tiny chance is noticed and commented on there!   I just about froze to death with all the warm clothes I had the first winter over here!  I am used to it now.  It will get easier!
