Kaixo! fron Euskadi

Hello! Kaixo!

First of all, sorry for my English....is quite poor...

I live in Bizkaia, Euskadi, Euskal Oiloa are from here :), it's been really surprised for us find out that our chicken are known in North America.
I've some Euskal Oiloa chicken, Zilarra, Gorria and Beltza, but there are some more (Marradune and Leposoila)
I don´t know how to add photos, but if you help me i can show you chickens, mines and from others breeders.

Re: Kaixo! fron Euskadi

Welcome to the North American Euskal Oiloa site.  We are very excited to have the Euskal Oiloa in Canada too.  Don't worry about the English mine isn't perfect either.  Thanks for joining our forum we have millions of questions about the Euskal Oiloa.  To post pictures you have to first put them on photo bucket or another site like that.  I do it from facebook.

Oh David I'm so glad you joined us! This is very exciting! Please don't worry about poor English, my Spanish is terrible. I had to use google translate to write and will have to wait to use it again to read Joseba's email. I can't wait! We primarily have Marradunna here but I think there are Gorria and Zillaria mixed in as well. We are all very keen to raise and share these birds as well as information. Welcome!!!

Re: Kaixo! fron Euskadi

Okay, that would be great! I would like to post links to your site here if I may, and any others you recommend. Everyone will look forward to your pictures and knowledge. We are trying to do this breed justice while working with a very limited gene pool. We will be starting a genetics study group soon and are trying to learn as much as possible. Some are even wondering if we may have the llodiana in the mix. These birds are fascinating to work with and keep unlocking treasures for us to try to figure out!
