Over 200 spam registrations overnight!

The forum is running VERY slow. When I checked for spam registrations there were over 200 since yesterday.

Because the site is so slow it takes forever to delete each one. And I am off to the processors this morning so have no time to delete them all, it will probably take hours.

If you also see the forum is slow or it goes down I suspect spammers are to blam. And I would suspect this problem is not isolated to our forum.

Re: Over 200 spam registrations overnight!

I saw that and did not know which Admin or Mod to report the spammers to, plus the forum was being soooooo slow I got fed up trying to find the old post about spammers.  They were taking to long to view.

No ACE was running really slow as well.

Bad Spammers!!!! :no no: :gunslinger:

Re: Over 200 spam registrations overnight!

I was lucky to hit a window of about an hour yesterday where the forum was fairly fast and deleted all the spammers registered until that time. Unfortunately the site is now slow again and we have a new group registered.

Sorry folks...trying my best to keep up with these spammers and I know Martin Grove Farm has contacted SMARTYs to see what they are doing to speed things up.
