Re: f & f

Well just got back, and the rain seemed to hold off (at least when I was walking around).  Did pretty well, I sold 4 birds and came home with 4 birds   Thanks M&K for the 2 lovely EO pullets, got them home and settled, they went right for the food.  I have put them in a pen with the Swedish Flower Hens that I got from Gwen.   Have been wanting them for a long time :excited:
Good to see as many as I could and the breakfast :eat: and :group talking: was great afterwards

Re: f & f

GMB so sorry I didn't get to visit with you, that's twice in row! (colwyn and now Fand F)    Next time tea and scones in the tent.  OK?  Got to see Gubi, Paula, Lynn, Lisa and Hellifant.  Didn't get a chance to talk and was careful not to hug anybody (except Micah) due to my bronchitis.  I am SOO  excited that Skarabrae farms is turning to Gorria EOs :excited: An awesome new member of the Gorria team.  My favourite part of the day is introducing EO and children to each other.  Somehow my prices drop below peanuts as I melt and Micah shakes his head and sighs   .  Many new young EO lovers out there today!! And the TPCs were popular too!

All the best,

Kiah and Micah

LOL I saw those Gorria EO's in Gwen's trailer.  I know they will be going to a good home with her.

Re: f & f

Great to see everyone at F&F. And sorry to have missed others! Soooo busy!

I was really happy when Gwen pre-ordered the Gorria girls too - I know she'll be a great addition to the breeding team!

Made some converts today too Kathy - had to smile when I sold 4 girls to a really nice fella, then sent him your way - he came back to tell me he had picked up 2 marradunas from you! =D Hoping to see him and another really super lady turning up on this forum one of these days...

Cheers to everyone, and safe travels!

When all else fails, go spend time with your chickens. :)

Pens are currently filled with Red Cuckoo (Marraduna) and Red Basque (Gorria) breeders, Spitz, and Seramas.

Re: f & f

Great to see some of you again.  Thanks to Lisa and Rudi I was able to find GMB to deliver the pullet.  Interesting place to be for sure.  I brought up some pullets for a laying flock, never met the person before but was able to find her by her description of her rubber boots!  I told my oldest to keep a look out for light blue rubber boots with tiny chickens on them and she spotted them within the first 10 minutes there!  Must have been a great sale, by the time we got there, there were only cockerels left.
