Ma piggehs

Just shy of 100lb ea. They've been living the life of Riley...  2-1/2acre lot, and averaging 8 inches of rain a month... they've got wallows every where!

Re: Ma piggehs

Funny you should post their pictures, I saw an ad on kijiji yesterday for some piggies, they had 26 of them and were asking $25.00 a piece for them.  Was soooo tempted but I would have to have a set up for them and I don't have time to do that right now.

What breed are they??  I am not up on my piggy breeds.

Re: Ma piggehs

We have 5 little piggy's this year.  They live outdoors is a similar set up as yours.  It's so much fun to watch they run and play.  They really are quite smart aren't they?

Re: Ma piggehs

These are Large Black x Tamworth crosses...

They are a lot of fun! I like to sneak into their pen unbeknownst to them with treats from the kitchen. The weeds in the lot are about 4 feet tall now, and I always go to a different spot. They get sooo excited when I call them, trying to figure out just where I am.

Mama always told me not to play with my food... :no no:

Re: Ma piggehs

Oh i wish we could have pigs MD. Your are cute but also look very tasty :eat: Is their pen all just electric? And 8 inches or rain a month  that's more than we get all of the non-frozen half of the year!
