where to buy Bell waterers

I'm off on holiday at the end of the month and will have someone else looking after the birds. At the moment I have to refill their 3 gallon water container twice a day. I 'm trying to make life easier for my baby sitter and was wondering if anyone knows where to buy the Bell automatic Waterer from. The FS store has it for $ 47.99 and I don't know if that's a good price or not. I still probably have time to send away for one if someone can steer me in  the right direction.

Re: where to buy Bell waterers

You could call Bayshore and ask, they have good prices on waterers and we get our galvanized ones from them,  I'd personlly get two 5 gallon galvanized waterers then you know they are good each day and another if weather is too bad for the "baby" sitter to get in.  Your barn is heated right?  You'll need that for autoimatic waterers I think,

Going anywhere nice?

Lynn, call Pulletts Plus in Elmira www.pulletsplus.com/  RR 4  Elmira, ON N3B 2Z3  (519) 669-2225, they have them.  There is a place in Wallenstein called SMB  www.smbmfg.com/   6376 Side Road 18  Wallenstein, ON N0B 2S0  (519) 669-1537   they have them as well.  Make sure you buy a pressure reducer, depending on the type of waterer you buy.

How is Greg?  Did he make a complete recovery?  He's been on my mind.  Can he come with you?

Re: where to buy Bell waterers

Hi Greg Is just fine. He had a throat swab done to test for anything serious which came back negative. So all is well. he and Belle are going into kennels for the week and according to the charge they set it must be a nice place. We are going on a tour tomorrow.
