How exciting.  Can you bear to tear yourself away from the incubator?

Here we go, friends.... the moments worth waiting for!

:chickout::chickout::chickout:  :pics:  :hatch::happybday:

The very first to hatch was a silver-gray Blue Andalusian/Lav. Ameraucana cross... included only because she's so darn cute!

Promptly followed by two EO pips!

First EO chick!!!

Followed only 5 min later by EO chick #2!

I'll keep you updated as the hatch progresses.

So glad to share this with you!

That's so awesome, we can't wait to hatch our very own first brood of EO's! Right now we have 8 black Pennie eggs and 3 EE eggs going into their third week, should start pipping Saturday. Congrats!:hatch:

Chickie update:

We're now up to five baby EO's... all vigorous little ones!  There are two more pipping right now.

So now I'm up to 12 "Barnyard Specials" and 5 EOs out of the shell... as well as 2 EOs and one Marans/? cross pipping.

More to come..... ((Waving thank you to their egg-parent))

Don't you just love the flat on their back, satisfied look at having just hatched? One of my favorite parts of hatching! :)
