Looks like you may have to contact him through Backyard Chickens or Western Canada Poultry Swap now, I don't think he'll get PMs through ACE =D

I have a feeling they are BHR or maybe Doug that was on ACE, but I could be way off.  We`ll have to ask as he was getting EO eggs from somewhere after that!  There will be baby pictures of those birds on BYC as he asked way back about them

Here`s the thread

He was on ACE but is a founder of the Canadian Homesteading I think, I am not a member there.  He always called them EU`s  No idea if he still has them.  It's Doug and Dorrie.

Hee hee hee...It was funny though....

It does seem strange Jonny thought the EO roosters were from crossbreeding of his eggs though. Maybe just a laps in memory as to where he got eggs. And where would the gorria rooster come from?

Lots of questions, so few answers but I am sure it can be figured out!
Wow, I am going to be late for work!

Re: Johnny Anvil has some EOs for sale Strathcona Cty, Alberta, Canada

PG if you keep reading the thread Johnny goes on to say that he is getting EO eggs in two weeks.

I think it is too bad about Ace and there now being 5 or more general poultry site in Canada, most started by former ACEr's!   I would like to see everyone at one site, now people have to post the same thing on 5 different sites.  Of course there is always a need for more specific Forum like this one where we can go more in depth about the EO's.

Stefan, I'll be spending most of my time on the western Canada poultry swap Hidden Rivers site, a ton of the core acers are there. I'm going to be helping by being admin there too.  I will still spend tome on poultry swap Ontario too but haven't much chance lately! I know what you mean, it's a shame everyone is not all in one place

Lys the owner of that site has banned Jonny and has probably removed his ad as well.

It was there, I just looked and can't find his ad on the Western Canada Poultry Swap   He is on BYC anyway,  Lys, I think the birds for sale were the ones he posted about on Back yard chickens

Re: Johnny Anvil has some EOs for sale Strathcona Cty, Alberta, Canada

Did anyone find out where they came from?   He sold a bunch at the tofield sale.   Then hatched some eggs, sold them to someone he doesn't know, he didn't follow up on them sadly.

We just bought his last 1 year old pullet, pick her up at the Millet Sale.   I am so excited, I've never owned one before.   :excited:
